Bending shouldn't hurt, and flexibility doesn't have to come from genetics or loose joints. In this workshop you'll discover a strength-based approach to contortion, one that builds mobility from muscle control rather than relying on gravity or joint laxity to do the work for you.

It's not about starting young or genetics. Train smart, and flexibility becomes a skill, not a gift.
Contortion Workshop
Contortion and flexibility work is strength work like any other. In this workshop we'll learn a technique based on strength training and anatomy that lets us precisely understand which muscles to engage to approach contortion safely. Rather than relying on joints and gravity to do the work for us, we'll learn how to support mobility work with our own muscles, working through all the layers, from legs to back to shoulders, and understanding how they work together.
This workshop is for everyone who wants to approach contortion or mobility work in a safe, sustainable way. We'll start from the hips with splits, then move on to well-supported backbending positions like bridge, elbow bridge, cobra, and chinstand, going further depending on interest and level.
