We are Bardogs, a community that lives training, connects people, and works together toward progress, trust, and strength.
Our Mission
Our story begins in 2012. Back then we were a group of friends with a shared passion for movement and training. With little infrastructure but plenty of motivation, we trained outdoors on playgrounds and at improvised spots. What drove us was not just the sport itself but the desire to get better and to inspire others with that energy.
In 2014 we took the next step and founded the Bardogs association. What started as a loose training group became a structured community. During those years not only did our athletic level grow, but so did our vision. We began sharing our knowledge, organizing workshops, and building our first training offerings.
We are passionate athletes — and you can feel it. We built Bardogs from the ground up and have kept the family vibe alive. It's not just a gym or a brand; it's our life project into which we put all our heart and soul.
In 2019 we turned our passion into a profession and founded Bardogs GmbH. At the same time, classes and personal training became established. A year later we expanded our infrastructure with a second training room. 2021 marked another milestone: regular classes in Zurich and a semi-private gym in Birmensdorf.
In 2024 a long-held dream became reality: the move to a new gym in Birmensdorf with over 800 m² of training space, which we renovated and designed ourselves. A place that brings together performance, community, and professionalism. Today Bardogs employs three permanent staff members and one apprentice.
What drives us to this day is the same passion as at the beginning. We come from sport and we live it. This enthusiasm, dedication, and team spirit are tangible — in every training, every class, and every encounter. For us, Bardogs is not just work but a calling.
