The origin story of Bardogs

The story of Bardogs begins at a small village festival in the Reuss Valley near Birmensdorf in the canton of Zurich. What was originally planned as the highlight of the evening program quickly developed into something more thanks to the success of the performance: the friends behind the idea formed a show team that, in the following years, performed at a wide variety of events far beyond the cantonal borders.

Over time Bardogs grew not only as a show act but also as a community for street workout and calisthenics training. We built our "Home of Bardogs" as a permanent training location and established ourselves in the fitness scene with workshops, training sessions and spectacular live acts. Today they stand for professionalism, passion and the promotion of calisthenics in Switzerland.
